Left the launch around 7:00 am, water was pretty flat then. Blasted out to 59 to set up. Oops 1 downrigger not working. Took the plug apart and wire had come loose so never got lines in the water until around 8:00. Not near as many fish on the screen as last week. Trolled 59-60 ft all morning. The winds and waves picked up mid- morning it was uncomfortable but fishable, then the waves dropped at almost flat again around 11:30. Fished 2 riggers and 2 lead core. Found a couple schools of fish and worked them all morning. Ended up with 12 walleyes and 5 or 6 little fellas we tossed back. Greasy Chicken Wing and RR Black and Gold did most of the damage off the riggers. Rapala Tail Dancer in Blue and Orange took 3 fish of the lead at 7 colours. All in all good day just had to work for them this time !
