My beautiful lady spent many hours cleaning the boat inside and out after the last trip out. Anyone out of Burwell today that can tell me how bad the bugs are? Thanks!

Heard the bugs are bad today,
I’m holding off cleaning the boat thoroughly until they gone

Fished Burwell (anchored for perch) all morning and hardly noticed a fly. Was surprised.

Bugs off the end of the point were a lot better this morning than on Wednesday. Still there but not nearly as bad or irritating. Probably 5% of what they were earlier in the week

Brutal today got so many in my eyes swollen up

How long do these fish flies normally last? Last two days out were brutal. I assumed a week or so after they hatch

I'm still finding the bastards in cracks and crevices of the boat from last year.

Hopefully there's a dieoff before I launch the boat.
