I would like to take out my 9 year old nephew perch fishing for the first time. Was wondering where would be the best bet would be tomorrow. Any info would be great!

I went to Long Point Thursday. Stay in the inner bay. Just look for the group of boats anchored probably just past the lighthouse. When I was there Thursday we caught quite a few and so was everyone else. Don't forget the minnows.

Not sure what you are referring to as a lighthouse in the inner bay, but much of the bay is now no fishing until June 27.

Only half the bay is sanctuary and it doesn't start until may 31

A Fish Sanctuary has been established by Regulation on part of Inner Long Point Bay. It is now necessary to refrain from all fishing between May 15 to the last Saturday in June each year - in the area labeled NO FISHING AREA below.

Yup that's the no fishing area from may 15th till bass opener

May 15 is the sanctuary date. Watch for the flotilla of signs which mark where you need to stay WEST of.
Otherwise, have fun paying the fines.
