Bluffs Bar - Sunday

Trolled around the inside of bluffs for an hour or two trying to pick up some pike. Tried spoons, repplin refins and body baits. All have worked well for me in the past. Not a hit out there. Interestingly we spotted multiple large pike surfacing as we trolled around ......so they are there.
Tried drifting with some worms (no minnows avalible)for perch. The sunfish seemed to be the only takers. I think we will try the north shore tommorow.

Does TP marina still sell minnows at the gas bar???

Pike will do that in the summer. Try once the surface water is closer to 60 degrees F and I'm sure you'll have better luck.

We caught 3 pike on leeches outside of the bar a week ago when fishing for bass in 14'. There were a lot of minnows there swimming around. The surface temp was about 68.
