Just wondering if there catching any pike out there lately???
never been there but planning too where is the best location to launch? and with tomorrow's weather premitting would it be safe out there with an 18 footer???

Fished there last weekend, bass. Given that there is a bass tournament going out of Turkey Point tomorrow there will be a lot of boats fishing the bar. The pike are not likely to be there. Or it will be full of pike and we wont get any bass. Closest launch would be turkey point, but with the derby Booths might be better. Good luck.

Perch and smallies are the order for the day at the bar. Best winds for the bar are S-SW. Take your time when getting close to the bar it goes from 20fow to 1 fow in quick order.
