Fishing Report Bluff Bar today.

Late start today, headed for Bluff Bar but got side tracked by a large group of boats off Pottahawk. Wasted an hour there without a nibble. Lake was like glass so we made our way to the Bluff and had a pretty good afternoon. Kept a dozen perch for a fish fry and three large ones for my dad cleaned just the way he likes them. Caught three Bowfin, one big one. Lots of Rock bass in the area right now. Ride back wasn't that bad compared to last Sunday. Great day on the lake.

Have only caught them in Black Creek as a kid. Caught 2 on our last trip to Bluff Bar also.

Couple been caught off the pier in Pt Bruce this year already. Couple last year and the year before as well. They is ugleeeeee.

This is the one I caught 2 years ago off the pier in Pt Bruce. First time I'd ever caught one. Like i said, UG LEEEEEEE, (yeah the fish is ug leeeee too. )

I didn't take pictures of the 2 that I saw caught off the pier last Friday, but one of them had bright neon green fins. Second time I'd seen it caught this year. Not sure where it's been, but it could damn near glow in the dark.

I believe they get that green color while spawning. I’ve seen a few like that

Thanks to Duck Soup for showing me where the perch were yesterday out at the Bluffs.Took home 30 perch all over 8".Lot's of Rock bass caught also.
