Hit the water around 2pm and it was a rough ride from TP until we were a couple miles from the bar and it calmed down considerably. Trolled a few passes with riggers without a hit so we anchored and quickly went through the small amount of minnows we had to get a dozen 10-12" perch. What I assume was a big pike broke me off after an impressively powerful run. Lost a small muskie and a big smallie within feet of the boat
Jigging and casting didn't get a single fish.
Lake calmed down so we went back to trolling. Lost 3 fish and landed an eater 20" pike. Too many weeds floating around and fouling lures with that wind.
Rapala J-13 black/silver and firetiger were all that worked for the pike. Should have took more minnows as the screen was lit up with perch.
