Weather reports are for some big wind[75 kph] to show up on Friday. Should be interesting ?

I guess the ones "held up" in the west feeding sanctuary that Canvasback took a picture of the other day.

Not much flying around ... something is off.

There were bunches of BW teal around on Monday. We only got 3 but that was our problem, not the lack of birds.
 
sat. oct. 1st didn't see any bwt today.didn't see that many ducks but more than the opener.got 7 geese 4 ducks inner bay by st. willies.lots of those big fish eating machines around

The WMU seemed "quiet" yesterday for a Saturday but I could hear shots coming from the St. Williams area ... that must have been you!

I saw two small rafts of "divers" this morning out towards St. Williams but well away from shore. Were your four ducks "divers" by any chance?

Here is some good news for those who have the equipment for big water ... the "divers" are down this morning in "force" way out past the east end of the WMU towards Little Rice Bay and Big Rice Bay or perhaps even beyond that.

I may go out and try the WMU tomorrow but from what I have seen so far it does not look too promising.

hey jerome, we got 1 bb 2 wigeons 1 black didn't see a lot of ducks they will be starten to come soon. good north wind and some clear nights.heres hoping
