I need at least the switch replaced as no continuity.
Only Big Jon authorized depot is in North Bay.
Grimsby tackle that carries Big Jon parts gave me a repair shop in Pt. Credit.
Anyone had Big Jon repairs closer to Simcoe Ont.?

Sounds like the same chain of events that I experienced. I called Big Jon in the States and they will ship out whatever you need. Here is the contact link: https://www.bigjon.com/contact. Good people to talk to and to get tech advice from in case you are hesitant to tear it apart yourself.

I would like someone to do more than I can.
That control cap is all soldered joints and covered in good lithium waterproof grease.
Don't want to spoil a good thing.
