Fishing Report Bass opener day # 2

[jerk bait]

On the water by 530 off by 8am. Wind picked up and was a bit choppy but fishable. Bass still harder to come.
by as usual , but still ended up with 9 and one giant I decided to live release beside the boat for no reason LOL....they seem very scattered except for small school I found which was back to back to back cast. Jerkbait was again the best presentation. Will be back put later today for round # 3.

Went out at noon. It was choppy but ok. Drifted around bait island and picked up a nice bass right off the start on a minnow.
Drifted for a while, buddy missed 2 good hits on leeches.
Got real choppy with 3 footers and lots of whitecaps. Came in as it was too much for me. Drifted at 1.8 mph according to the GPS.
