Bad day - Warm weather with a strong wind.

The ice is disappearing very fast in Port Dover. Not looking long ice fishing season on the Bay. for a

I don’t think this ice is going anywhere quickly , I could be wrong and it’s happened before , I measured 14 inches of ice today , February 11 , wind is blowing like crazy it’s raining sideway and I’m looking out my ice hut window , while feeding the wood stove , at one lone guy fishing in the open , tough conditions to be sitting there

The cracks in the Bay will be sketchy to cross but the ice should hold up for awhile, this weekend will harden things back up...

Cracks where fine this morning, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they open up a little

Lots of ice out of St Williams just needed to stop atv to check crack did NOT cross where main trail is maybe 20 ft or more beside it but check before you cross. A lot of sorting and a few pike cruising by.
