Another great day out of Burwell. Been hearing that the fish were back in town, and they confirmed it today. Headed straight south and dropped lines when we hit 57' of water. Wandered between that and 59' and had our two man limit plus a 'bow in less than 3 hours. All except a couple were of the smaller year class. Didn't matter what you used, as long as you put it a few feet above them. A word of advice. If using downriggers, planers, or Dipsys, trip the release and check for fish every 15-20 minutes. Half the fish we caught seemed content to keep swimming along after being hooked, and never tripped the release, no matter how light we tried to set it. Sorry to say no fish pictures, but have a mid morning shot of the lake conditions.
