Fishing Report A Weeks fishing trip.

I' am going to Island Lake lodge next week, on thistle lake in the Temagami area,I was hoping some one on this forum have fished that lake and if they have any info that could be useful to use. Thanks in advance.
 
Stayed there last year middle part of June. Cabins are well kept, the service was decent, docking very nice. The fishing was pretty good but really noticed a down turn when the dam controlled waterway was released. We caught decent numbers of pickerel & pike using jigs and minnows. One down side and probably the only major factor was the size of lake is fairly small. If your just renting one of their tinny then this shouldn't be a factor. Overall a pretty good camp.
