Connected with my fishing partner for a day out of Glasgow. Forecasts said my 18-footer might be a bit uncomfortable so we took his 24-foot Bayliner. Good call. She was a lumpy one today, but the good-sized fish were ready to play. Threw back a couple too big, and a few too small and kept a box of just-right-for-the- table fish - plus one bow. 32 - 39 down. Oranges, yellows, and purples. 50 - 60 back off the riggers, 5 colour and all a slider set up all took fish. 5 hours, 20+ fish. And it was a good day. 55 -62 fow
