My boat is keeped on the trailer except for 2 weeks a summer, LOL, and my bumper are stored inside the boat. They definitely don't look as bad as yours. But they still get stained from day use. I like your fender brackets!
I have the 5 1/2" x 20" and they seem to work good, the only complaint would be they stain really easy at the boat launch if they get in the water. Hard to get the stains off the white finish.
When I'm done trolling I remove the steering link from both motors and pull the Panther bracket to the top position. My Mercury 9.9 has a half tilt up position and I leave it there. Motor is all the way out of the water and no problems taking off with the main motor.
I have a 21’ boat with a long shaft 9.9 4 stroke. My boat definitely needs a long shaft to keep the lower end in the water when it gets a little rough. I have no problems getting it out of the water. I also have the heavy duty Panther trolling motor bracket.
That's a good point, I noticed there was lots of marks and bait balls out there pretty much at any depth. Hopefully next season they will be hungry for lures! LoL.
