    Off Topic Boat fenders

My boat is keeped on the trailer except for 2 weeks a summer, LOL, and my bumper are stored inside the boat. They definitely don't look as bad as yours. But they still get stained from day use. I like your fender brackets!

    Off Topic Boat fenders

I have the 5 1/2" x 20" and they seem to work good, the only complaint would be they stain really easy at the boat launch if they get in the water. Hard to get the stains off the white finish.

    Which kicker do i need

When I'm done trolling I remove the steering link from both motors and pull the Panther bracket to the top position. My Mercury 9.9 has a half tilt up position and I leave it there. Motor is all the way out of the water and no problems taking off with the main motor.

    Which kicker do i need

I have a 21’ boat with a long shaft 9.9 4 stroke. My boat definitely needs a long shaft to keep the lower end in the water when it gets a little rough. I have no problems getting it out of the water. I also have the heavy duty Panther trolling motor bracket.

    Fishing Report Elbow - Disappointing

That's a good point, I noticed there was lots of marks and bait balls out there pretty much at any depth. Hopefully next season they will be hungry for lures! LoL.

    Fishing Report Elbow - Disappointing

Launched the boat today (Sept.17) at Turkey point Marina and headed to the Elbow. Started at the drop off to 65 ft. and zig zagged from 65 to 90 feet of water heading towards the light house. Fish finder seemed to be marking fish but no hits. Washed lures for 2 1/2 hours trying everything with...

Port Stanley weather buoy showing 3 feet, usually times that by 2 , so probably close to 6 footers out there.

    Fishing Report Aug 31 Nanticoke.

I keep two fly swatters on the boat, plus I keep a couple cans of bug spray with the heavy deet formula. Bug spray works the best.

    Kicker motor fuel line

I had a similar problem with mine earlier this year and I found it was the pick-up tube inside of the fuel tank. It hard a small leak where the clear nylon pick-up tube connects to the brass fitting that threads into the tank. The main motor fuel pump had enough power to overcome the leak but...

Nanicoke on a stiff SW? Re: Saturday

Nanticoke shoal is about 11 to 12 miles from the tip of Long Point, so even with a south - southwest wind it’s still able to build some decent sized waves on a windy day. The Point should help it to block the big rollers , but not the choppy waves that can build in that 8-10 mile spand across to...
