Went yesterday afternoon for what probably was our last visit for this year. I am quite sure someone else made it their last trip of the season too.

I can't say I've ever seen that before.

Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day.

The fishing was mediocre, only kept 4, and let a bunch of 8-10 inchers go.

Tons of bait, too much for my liking, at 65 fow.

It was a great season. Looking forward to Simcoe perch.

Apparently it had been there for several days. It was removed by the time I returned to port yesterday evening tho.....was a little odd, the weather certainly hasn't been promising this past week, wondering if he got swamped trying to make it out and sunk!? Didn't get the story at rhe launch...

I seen this as well. Was guessing that they drove up a log in the shallow water on the shore side of the channel.

sounds like they were fishing in 60 some feet of water when they realized they were taking on water and they gave her full throttle to get in. According to them the motor blew up in the channel and down she went. Lucky they got that bar otherwise the outcome would’ve been way worse
