I met up with @Could get Ugly early this morning at the Port Stanley boat ramp, for a few hour’s of walleye fishing. He finally received a 68 sticker from me,which was way overdue. It was also a great pleasure to meet up with @gibby123 and @Jbllnr as well again at the boat ramp. After chatting for awhile, they were off to try their luck for walleye’s. Shortly after,a kayaker showed up at the boat ramp, and could this perhaps be @King Joe ?? I had to ask him,but it wasn’t @King Joe and it was a perfect day for kayaker’s today, because the wind was forecasted to be light, for most of today. @Could get Ugly and myself were finally off,and headed right towards 67 feet of water, were the “hot bite” was happening so we were told. We had a slow start at first, and I knew that @Wave Runner was fishing off port glasgow today,so I made a quick phone call to him to see how he was doing on the walleye fishing. He was doing quite well,by using dipsey divers. @Could get Ugly and myself eventually found the walleye’s & we ended eventually limiting out, with some walleye’s lost as well, plus 3 heads. @Could get Ugly ended up reeling in all of the 12 plus walleye’s,and his arms must be sore, especially cranking the lead core rod with the 10 colour on it. The downrigger and the dipsey Rod worked well also. Ripplin Redfin’s in blue/silver,and this Ripplin Redfin lure, that I just took out of its package today, caught most of our walleye’s!! It is well broken in now, with plenty of walleye teeth marks on it!! LoL My boat being a “tiller” it was therefore a bit of a challenge for me to drive @Could get Ugly console boat, and also not trying to cross the 3 lines out from the back of his boat. Another 68 member recognized me when we came back in from the lake to the boat dock, and sorry, I can’t remember your name, but either way,he also ended up receiving a 68 sticker from me. It was a pleasure to have met you as well. Thanks @Could get Ugly for taking me out today, especially while I have been waiting for a part for my outboard motor on my boat, and being “landlocked” is not fun!! Lets fish a lot more together, and the walleye fishing is amazing out on Lake Erie still right now,so get out there everyone, and tight lines and Walleye’s ON!! to All!!
