I recently read this the other day by a member who posted this on @stomp website, (I believe it was @Derkd9 ?? & thanks if it was you,or someone else),about the Dixie Tackle Shop in St.Thomas having a Ukraine Fundraiser for today only,& 2 “thumbs up!!” for the Dixie Tackle Shop for doing this Ukrainian Fundraiser, because any tackle sales from today, they then will donate 50% of the tackle sales,to the Ukrainian Club in London,Ontario. Not me needing any more fishing tackle!! lol I decided to take the drive down this morning to St.Thomas anyways to the Dixie Dairy Shop. What a great idea/way for the Dixie Tackle Shop to raise money for Ukraine ,and myself & others to also hopefully help them out in some way. After emptying out my wallet on more fishing tackle, lol & the new,” BAIT 2 GO” seasoned coating mix, that you suggested Karen for me to try on fish or chicken etc. I felt good inside me afterwards about helping out with this Ukrainian Fundraiser & myself somewhat today doing my part for Ukraine and it’s people in need, during these horrific times!! There were some great draw prizes there as well, and I ended up buying 3 ticket’s for $10 in hoping of winning one of those Rapala giant lure’s in the draw & finger’s crossed The winner’s for the draw prizes will be posted on the Dixie Tackle Shop website on Facebook tomorrow. Good luck to all who entered. It was great seeing you again Karen & Dianne, and thanks for the free donut and coffee which was nice from you & I enjoyed my coffee & donut for the drive to Port Stanley after leaving the Dixie Tackle Shop. Again,it is Fantastic, for the Dixie Tackle Shop for doing this Ukraine Fundraiser, and here’s hoping that the rest of today, there will be plenty of more people buying your fishing tackle for a very worthy cause, with the 50% in tackle sales going to the Ukrainian Fundraiser. See you both again sometime soon & All the Best!! A post from my trip to Port Stanley today after the Dixie Tackle Shop, will be posted sometime tomorrow.
