Top of hill farm field was open yesterday. Parking lot at bottom was closed. Shoreline was good at 6:30 am but slushy by 2 when we came off. Ice now ends at first crack and we were warned to stay away from it. We were about 75yds from it on 8" of good ice. Lots of folks pulling their permanent huts off the ice. You might get away with it tomorrow but Sundays temps are gonna finish it off.

That cornfield parking lot on top is going to look like a world war 1 trench by Sat am. Just be forewarned. Your heading to a carwash afterwards.

Yes!! @wetnets88 it should be good for tomorrow!! ๐ŸŽฃ๐ŸŸ๐ŸŸ๐ŸŸ But!! Beware, there is lots of open water beyond the major pressure crack. I would ice fish where all of the red & blue ice hutโ€™s are now, that were moved closer to shore this afternoon. I am still in Port Rowan at this moment waiting for my chicken dinner at Uncleโ€™s Country Coffee. I will put a post on @stomp later when I get back to the โ€œBigโ€ city!! London lol ๐Ÿ˜† ๐ŸŽฃ๐ŸŸ๐ŸŸ๐ŸŸ๐ŸŸ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ˜Ž

I was thinking about heading out tomorrow, but I think Iโ€™ll call it a season, I should go cut fire wood , my dad and uncle fished today , perch bit was slow for them , but they caught some decent pike fishing towards the east , Iโ€™m pretty sure they are done for the season too 4FCB5C4A-8B42-40EE-8AF7-AC5221045A4B.png

The guy who collected the $5 to park said today was the last day he would be open as it would be to muddy.

Your welcome @wetnets88 & thanks buddy about loving my postโ€™s,and it was a great pleasure meeting you on February 15/22,off Collins Harbour while ice fishing. Maybe we will meet up again on long point bay during the soft water season fishing for perch & pike, etc. I will be thames river walleye fishing tomorrow, before the rain comes this Sunday & likely flooding out the thames river into a big mess!! You know how to reach me & tight lines & Fish ON!! ๐Ÿšค๐ŸŽฃ๐ŸŸ๐ŸŸ๐ŸŸ๐ŸŸ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™‚
