Thanks a bunch I think I will stay away, had a good year already and will end on a good noteTop of hill farm field was open yesterday. Parking lot at bottom was closed. Shoreline was good at 6:30 am but slushy by 2 when we came off. Ice now ends at first crack and we were warned to stay away from it. We were about 75yds from it on 8" of good ice. Lots of folks pulling their permanent huts off the ice. You might get away with it tomorrow but Sundays temps are gonna finish it off.
That cornfield parking lot on top is going to look like a world war 1 trench by Sat am. Just be forewarned. Your heading to a carwash afterwards.
@Brandon Lots of parking still on top of the Hill today at $5 per vehicle, and the perch are,โHUNGRY!!โLooking to get out on the ice one more time tomorrow, is there still parking at the top of the hill and if so what road is it located on? Also any points on how the shoreline is holding up?Thanks for info in advance
Yes!! Frozen here very nicely!! But wear cleats!!Did it re-freeze overnite Red? Was getting pretty sloppy/soupy when I pulled out yesterday.

Yes!! @wetnets88 it should be good for tomorrow!! But!! Beware, there is lots of open water beyond the major pressure crack. I would ice fish where all of the red & blue ice hutโs are now, that were moved closer to shore this afternoon. I am still in Port Rowan at this moment waiting for my chicken dinner at Uncleโs Country Coffee. I will put a post on @stomp later when I get back to the โBigโ city!! London lolHey Red.....do you think it will be good ice for a morning fish tomorrow? Was thinking of going down for a bit since work got cancelled for tomorrow.
