Fishing Report Live Glasgow - July 20th

It sure has been easy pickins at Glasgow last couple days, no pun intended! We got a 3 man pretty quick this morning. Funniest thing was a buddy reeling in a huge foul hooked sheepshead on a tail dancer 70 feet out and 200 back on the big boards. By the time he got it boat side we caught and landed 2 eyes and reset both lines! Same depth and lures as all the other posts!

@Ticker i see you have that Jensen radio in the one photo there..
does it work well for you?
I feel like mines not hooked up to an antenna or soemthing strange

It was a great fishing day with @Puddle Jumper today
As in the beginning of the report we started lines in at 5:45 and pulled lines at 2:00
Started in 58 fow as far out as 70 fow south / slightly east from Port
Dipsey set back 75 - 85 in the morning by end of day 105 -110 set back on #3 settings
Riggers 30- 45 down varying time to time
Leadcore from 3 colors out to 8 colors but it only took 2 fish one at 6 and one at 8 colors out
Rrf silver / blue , gold / black did excellent
Copper pink tip held its on
Gold chicken wing did just as well as rrf
We put out some other colors spoon body baits with some success
Crazy action after 10 minutes of set up for an hour than bite slowed down around 10 or so all quite for an hour than we got into a school of 10 -15 inchers but with one 28 inch mixed with them last hour we started to troll back towards shore and the picking was good with good size fish to 50 fow where we pulled lines
The wheater was great got a good walleye chop by 2 pm
We hit stained water around 55 fow but the fish kept coming in the boat " note to self : don't need to go to far out to clear water to catch fish 🙄,"
We finished with as per picture posted by @Puddle Jumper at 51 and lost approximately 15 , no rainbows for as today despite trying @Wave Runner advice to fish high top of water and I pulled all my tricks out of the bag too
Here are some fish porn

Hey @Derkd9 yes it is it came with the boat
Fishing lake Ontario get all sorts of stations coming in clear , on lake Erie pending where I'm at so its pending on what stations you want some are staticy and some are fairly clear
I guess if you hooked it up to an external antenna be a better signal

With 51 fish you didn't have time to change the channels to see which ones have static or come in clear... who are you kidding. :p

The radio only gets turned on when wife is with me and fishing is slow and she gets bored 🤣
Yep when my wife was able to fish with me it was the same deal. Until one day the radio quit working ha ha... I never did get it fixed. 👍🙃
