From Grand Bend, 1st salmon a few minutes ago, 150 WS and pink panties spoon.

2/4 so far. Lost 1 huge fish half way after planer. All bites pink panties. 150 and 200 WS, nothing on lead core yet

Did you make it North of the Kettle Point area @vmuravin ?? I thought that I might of seen you out there around noon hour,if that was your boat that I saw.If was a beautiful day to be fishing on Lake Huron today.

Nice photo’s @vmuravin Lake Huron isn’t too hard to fall in love with,and it is less than 1 hour from my house and only 72 kilometres away.Another floating dock,(2 now in total),was installed after you left Grand Bend,according to the webcam.Enjoy your salmon filets,and they sure look good!!

Likewise @vmuravin and lets try to catch those salmon now,while they are in a little closer to shore,before the salmon head into much deeper water,(80 to 100+ feet of water) for the summer,unless you have a big boat to catch them there!! lol Tight Lines & Salmon & Trout ON!!

I’m interested in trying some fishing on Lake Huron… leaving from the Port Franks or Grand Bend marinas. Wondering where I go to find salmon? I normally fish Lake Erie just looking to try something different… particularly catching salmon or trout. Any advice on where to go?
