A tough 5 hour’s of fishing for me today,from 9 a.m. till 2 p.m. I launched out of Port Franks Marina & headed straight into 55 feet of water,and I trolled to 68
feet of water, where apparently the salmon have been caught. I was using two lead core rod’s,one was set at around 35 fow & the other one was set at 25 fow.I tried numerous different body baits such as bomber’s,smithwick’s,etc. Silver Streak Spoon’s were also used, such as pink panties, piston cup, etc. It was great to be back in my boat again for the first time this year,(the lockdown didn’t help either),plus because my 9.9 hp kicker outboard motor was recently just repaired as well. The salmon are out there, according to some of the angler’s that I had talked to later, because they had caught some salmon today.Plus, the next time I will need to bring my downrigger which would of definitely would of helped!! I am already looking forward to be doing some salmon fishing again real soon!! I also need to get out on the water much earlier then at 9 a.m. like I did today. Tight lines to All & Be safe!!
