May 13 evening a few hours on my buddies boat at Port Weller - very slow day, 3/3 all small young kings.

May 14 BAR was a payback for Friday the 13th - 13/19, 2 lakers, 1 king, 10 cohos. 60-220 fow. Riggers 40-50 down, 100/150/200 WS, 5 colors with LJ Shoehorn and John King Salmon Buster spoons.

May 15 BAR + Port Weller on totally flat lake, was an ok day with 1st hour being a Pandemonium (4/11 after 60 min on water), then slow... total 9/17, 1 king, 1 laker, 6 cohos, 1 bow. 100 WS, 2 colors, roughly the same spoons, riggers 40-50 down in 50-250 fow.

We had completely inverse results. We were there on the Sunday. We were looking for coho but got more kings.

What speed were you at??? We tried slow with only minor cohos (3). When we moved to 3mp or 3.5 mph, the kings started.

You got a great mixed bag and that’s what we were hoping for. What speed did you guys play at to get kings, coho, lakers and kings?? We didn’t get a whiff from a laker! Or a bow!

The trolling speed was 1.5-2.2 at the ball @FlyingViking .The cohos were literally jumping our of the water. Lakers would be closer to the bottom. The kings run away after the sun is up, we had 3 bites with kings I am guessing but landed only 1.

If my math is right… you NAILED the Cohos at slow speed. And we DOUBLED your speed and got into Kings..

Completely the opposite of what I would have thought…. Completely opposite of what we see out of Bronte or PC..

It’s a learning experience… but thanks for the detailed info.

It is not about math man it is about the proper presentation and whether the fish are around. Every trip is a learning experience...
