There's a few events coming up that are a good way to kill some time, tilt a pint, and talk muskie fishing with other like minded folks. There was some interest in this last fall when we were talking muskie on the forum so I promised to share info as available.....
- The K-W Chapter Monthly meeting is this Wednesday Jan 17th at 7pm. It is at the Lonestar Texas Grill, 38 Pinebush Rd Cambridge. Guest speaker is Lidio Azevedo of Bluewater Baits. He is a hardcore fisherman and one of the largest custom bait makers in the country. Everyone is always welcome if you want to come and check it out.
- The next Hamilton Chapter monthly meeting is Wednesday Feb 7 at 7:30 pm. It is at the Powerhouse Restaurant, 21 Jones St. Stoney Creek. Guest Speaker is Landry Smith of Rover Baits. All are welcome.
- The Muskie Odyssey is the biggest muskie specific show in Canada and is coming up April 13th at the Delta Toronto Conference Centre in Mississauga. This is an amazing event with tons of bait makers, tackle vendors, lodges, seminars, live on-line auction, tackle swap and even an open bar this year! Last year's event was spectacular and this one will be even better. This is the main fundraiser for MCI for the year and all money raised goes to Muskie Research and Conservation projects. People were lined up & camped out out the day before the show last year to get a shot at some of the more popular custom baits.
