The place where i hunt for past 9 years, and this is the only repeat trespasser i know of or see every god dam year, i tried confronting him once but he wouldn't cross another farmers field as i won't trespass on someone else's,, if any of you know this old F%#K, let him know. I've posted these photos and put them up in the coffee shop near where i hunt to shame this piece of Sh8t. ruins a lot of hunts for me and my kid. wasting our time sitting and waiting for nothing, cause he was out leaving his scent all over the place, or hunted it before i get there and spooked everything out. Wheatley is the town close by where i hunt, I'd love to talk with this guy. Spoke with my farm property owner and his dad to see if they know this old timer, he does not have permission to be there or hunt there. year after year , same thing , roughly same best time to hunt deer this guy is completely F%^$&^g things up, He is scared to come over and talk with me if he sees me coming. Wonder why?!

I would like to start forum topic here on 68 for all trespasser's, let it be known to all hunters that visit this site. it's time to shame these offenders and to have others gain knowledge if they are around areas that happen to get the unwanted hunter where they shouldn't be. i will post them as i get them. you never know who is going to show up on cameras.

People have been posting similar stuff on the Facebook Ontario deer hunting group
Might wanna slap it up there as well.
These people have balls
What will they do if they get a deeer down??

Make it harder for him to gain access to the field, start blocking the fence rows up where he’s coming in on the quad.

Is he driving the quad from his place or is there a truck parked somewhere? A couple slashed truck tires and I’m sure he won’t be back

Maybe the old guy has been hunting there for years since hes been a kid, when you didn't need permission just went by signs, NO Hunting.
Looks like he hunts by himself, old school.
Maybe he had permission years ago.

My son had an issue with a trapper a while back, but has since gotten to know the people of the neighbourhood/area and now has an agreement with a hunter for his acreage.

Decent non combative means to a solution.

Hunter came to him.

He is the second owner of the land and the change might not have been known for a bit. 🌻

ya there is no reason for foul mouth..I didn't even bother to read the disrespect

i am not perfect but I would like to see a change in the "not telling the truth" and involving my threads..its total disrespect..and we know who they are..

and what is the purpose with all the trail camera photos of private property doing on social media? I have and appreciate and respect landowner permission, for fishing, not for posting on social media, I would think that would not be appreciated by the landowners I know and have known, especially hunting and with firearms, I had many of lands to hunt on with permission, very strict dos and don'ts applied, including with neighboring propertys with valuable livestock including high valued horse farms, I needed to show identification with my address my licence plate number and vehicle make model year seriously every farm and landowner was different, walking on private farm land toting a firearm is no joke, and for what reason is it doing on here?

I started hunting in 1982, maybe that is not a long time for some people here, but trespassing is trespassing. Even back in the 70s, I can remember my dad knocking on doors looking for permission to hunt land. I certainly do not remember a time when it was okay to hunt on land simply because there were no signs.

well i been hunting since 1974 with my father and my 3 different uncles. we had permission to hunt by the landowners, My one uncle was the safety police officer full career with St.Thomas Police . I was taught to use firearms, and legal to hunt at 15 years.

Hunting & fishing, was and is landowner permission..now I got to go back and regain landowner permission for more steelhead fishing locally, because I am done with hunting, no more hunting since 2019. Why? because I don't like the game meat no more, and I have way over my $5000 towards big game taxidermy, so thats it..done..
There is something about the feeling of carrying a firearm on to someones private property, your perception is a feeling you have to feel..its like something is out of place, the poacher knows that feeling, that person can be labeled a thieve, because he is actually stealing..both from the landowner and the laws of the fish and game act.

Please read the attachment below..Then Another thing that hasn't sat well with me in the hunting community and thats the hunting in Northern Ontario..it makes my stomach curdle to think the cost involved in stopping just a tiny bit of the poaching.
Really what makes me really sick is I use to travel north to hunt. Many times different WMUs if you think I want to make another trip north to hunt..and all the harassment I have gone thru with MNR & OPP road blocks and being pulled over and checked numerous times with out a hair out of place..I don't want nothing to do with hunting period. Yes the open season is on the hunter, Not me. Never ever again, thanks but no thanks, saved me alot of anxiety and money to go south.

As a landowner myself, trespassing is an everyday occurrence. People feel entitled.
I dont allow hunting unless it for very select few but I still fine boneheads in orange suits every year hunting where they shouldn't be.

such a disconnect between fishermen only and hunters
on a better note for hunters..if your looking for a moose hunt..I reccomend you go now..Nfld moose hunt..I got my Xmas moose 2x..I been out there 3x ...2 moose hunts 1 caribou..you don`t come home without..
look up a thousand different outfitter chances for a tag..discounted and hunt goes till jan 15..well use to..weather is a factor on when you go..and come back..book your overnight ferry with a cabin ..and your at huntcamp the next afternoon..best hunt and back drop is below gros morne mountains 22 hours to the ferry..you can b hunting by friday..if your like me..thursday..make the deal on the phone and go

take 7 to 8 coolers for cargo..2 coolers for cod over halibut

alberta hunting gets bought up by the americans dollar..but I found a way..took a beauty 6x6 elk its here on the forum..1é2 the price..

Not in Ontario lol there are some states that if the land isn’t posted you are legally allowed to go hunt without talking to the landowner hahaha
