My mother used to make a simple version of this in a single electric frying pan when I was a kid, It has evolved significantly since I took it over here at my house, LOL

Taylor's One Step ( I put this :poop: on everything)

Process
  1. Dust and brown chicken
  2. Par boil potatoes and carrots
  3. Sautee mushrooms add crushed garlic near finish
  4. Drain potatoes and carrots
  5. Olive Oil and Mrs Dash potatoes into the oven to roast
  6. Carrots into a frying pan with butter and oil until colour develops add Dill near finish
  7. Combine all finished ingredients with mixed mushroom soup in large vessel
  8. Simmer stir and turn over until everything is cooked and sauce thickens and coats.
Comments:

Sorry, I don't measure, everything is eyeballed.

Started with 18 drumsticks, added enough potatoes and carrots to make sense. The Mrs Dash and Dill is added to taste as is salt and pepper.
Some of the Dill comes off the carrots during the cook and flavours the sauce.

Any chance your Mom was from England? My Mom did the same thing but with the breast.
