Between a few wiring issues and a general avoidance of boat ramps on long weekends, spent the day working on some files, the boat and then supper. Needed a break from the Q and the smoker (although I did roast the peppers on the grill, along with a hot Hungarian for me to add to the sauce). One of the tricks I have picked up over the years for giving shrimp dishes is to buy them raw, in the shell and boil the shells in water. Reduce to a 1/4 cup and add to the recipe. Gives the dish a real shrimp kick.
Just a few ingredients using fresh basil and oregano from the garden and 2 cloves of garlic.
Accompanied by a Ceasar salad with our homemade tongue tingling dressing and fresh cooked bacon.
No leftovers.
