Well we went out trying to find the best spot to hunt (methedoligy)..lol,road around turkey point, pottahawk,big rice,little rice. Didn't see a lot of bird around. We ended up in what we call kozak hole put out a few deks ready to go, birds kept flaring so we moved the boat about four times, finally I said move it it way back there and they won't be able to see us and we won't be able to see them.Didn't see one mallard or black?? Seen lots of hooded mergansers bluebills gadwalls most of the ducks were high and headed to the outer lake. Seen the emerald shiner coming back seen two boats headed out to pottahawk(one was a boat probably going to hunt the ridge. How did you guys make out?)We ended up with 2 hoodies 2 buffles and 1 goose(normelly this time of year we try to shoot greenheads but non to be had)Stil lots of time to get some good shoots in.Heres to a good 2012 season and Merry Christmas to all.
