Tried the new ramp for a second time other than the walk it'll works fine on calmer days,
didn't post last thursdays result as all we did was wash a few lures and catch 2 silvers,
Tried again from 4pm till dark just a bit deeper 55 to 62 probably half way to bruce as it was a bit off a run to the north west to get back ,8 miles.
there was a bit off chatter between a couple boats not having luck but we seem to do ok, first fish was a sheep head, a monster at that, then the next 4 fish were walleye. 3 came from the same area circling around to run it again.
Running a pair of 6 and 4 colour set ups with diving real image smelt, silver and a gold both took fish and blue and silver diving tail dancer.
After reading last weeks reports I had to take another stab at it.
water fleas are on the lines and the mayflies were thick once the wind died and lake pancaked out.
