Fishing Report Port Burwell

Fished Burwell this morning. Started in 25ft and worked out to 50ft. Surface temp.was almost 60 degrees.(59.9) The bite was soft and slow. The fish we did catch were huge. Many were 13-14 inch. The lake was calm and turned out to be a great day of fishing. The numbers are not there yet, but still had a good time out there for the first trip out of Burwell.

i am getting excited..a week saturday i am coming with my cousin uncle and his friend for the week. rented a spot and a dock. he is getting too old to keep going up to gowganda like we usually did..so i am hoping there are some calm days and the perch are biting. It is his favourite fish and relatively easy for him and his friend to reel in.
i will be reporting our results starting father's day for the week. well..one day of golf in there!!!
