Went to Port Bruce this afternoon to also test a few things with my kids. Marked lots of large schools of baitfish and or perch on the western edge of Bruce beach about mile perhaps 2 out. Everyone else seemed to be fishing to the east. Trolled over that way also during my shakedown but did not seem to mark the numbers like i was at first.
Beautiful day out there , very slight breeze with foot chop maybe. Last 1/2 hr we drifted and I threw on perch coloured rap , caught an 8 then 9 inch perch.
Called it a day and headed for home.
