After launching at North Erie Marina I fished Bruce this morning with a couple of friends for only our second outing this year. It was better than our first and with a lot of sorting managed to bring home 120 nice perch. Only a 1/2 doz. or so jumbos but lots of 9-11 inchers in the mix. We were in 35 fow in front of the 3 trees with an on and off bite but the ones biting were definitely hungry. I counted about 40 boats out this morning with a few out farther after pics & bows I presume. All in all a beautiful morning with a fairly flat lake to enjoy especially with a big bowl of fillets to fry up. At least those little rascals are finally showing up in the Central Basin.
