Fishing Report Port Bruce - June 18

Busy day at the North Erie, as always, Greg and his team kept em moving.

Got on the water just before 8am and headed East to a widely spread out pack of boats. Caught 7-8 keepers in 41', and one really good sized silver bass. We went further East, almost to the windmills in 38' and caught 7-8 more keepers. Then a really light bite turned to a full stop. We decided to try West of the pier, first in 31' then in 55' and caught two tiny ones and that was it.

Beautiful calm, clear day on the water. Even with only a few keepers (only one over 11") it was great to be out.

Saturday Morning, 6 am out of North Erie Marina:
I was out in front of the first group of windmills East of Port Bruce in 41'.
Ended up with 30 keepers (10 Really Nice Jumbo's), and around 75 throw backs.
Once the bite started it didn't stop for hours, probably about 11 am.
It was such a beautiful day I just hung out on the lake until 4 pm.

...Up Next, LONG POINT BASS DERBY
