That's only the first type I make. Saurkraut and mushroom and farmers cheese and potatoes are next a after the deer hunt next week .I do share the wealth with family and friends.that should last a while.
Yes I cook them before freezing them.Just my preferenceLooks awesome! Do you boil them then freeze? We have made a few large batches, placed on cookie sheets in freezer then bagged up. The choke point for us is always freezer space....
After thawing you can bake them also. I've done it both waysand then thaw them out and a quick turn in the frying pan with butter and onions? Is baking them an option after thawing?
