It's been hard getting the toms to cooperate so far this spring hunted a bush
never thought there would be a bird in but you never know had this boy down 6:15
beet the rain he weighted 20lbs 10 inch beard spurs 1 inch one spur was ripped off
from fighting.Pic was to big so when't this way(y)

Congrats on a fine bird @Gunner, persistence pays off in Turkey hunting! I almost bagged bird no.2 on Sunday, had him coming in, until a deer chased him off, never seen anything like it, although disappointing to see him run away, it was quite amusing to see the deer chasing it around the field lol. At least I didnt bust him and I know where he is now :) . Good Luck with tagging out!
 
Thanks guys i'm finding that the hens aren't
breeding yet so it's hard to pull the toms away from the hen
things are late this year
