Nanticoke questions

First time heading to Nanticoke side of the point,
Is Hoovers the best place to put in?
Do they have minnows?
I assume the shoal area is the place to be? Perch or walleye?

I don't see many posts from that area, perhaps it's not as popular as Burwell?

Thanks

Hoovers ramp is not very good (and that's being polite) and there are no minnows either. Dover has a better launch but again, no minnows.

There it definitely more fish around Burwell. Walleye are past (55fow min) the shoal. You have to work harder for them. I usually start at 55 ft and troll towards the long Point lighthouse. Keep one bait within 10ft of the bottom. Experiment with other lines. They seem to be scattered in the water column. Don't know of anyone selling minnows in the Dover/Nanticoke area.
