I stopped when my body told my brain that it was wrong and I was no longer physically capable of fighting my way through the mud and the bush to get to a river, nor was I capable of standing on that river bank because of the pain I would feel if I tried. 🙁

That's why but for those times when I've been able to go out with Tailfeathers or others in their boats when invited, the pier in Pt Bruce has been my go to spot. I can get there and it's easily accessible.
