Lake O Lakers

Launched out of Forans, Fished 10 till 3 , landed 5 lakers, lost two. In conversation with other anglers, the shallows were quiet so we headed out to 90 feet. Downriggers at 70, dispeys @ 50. Beautiful day to be on the water, lakers were huge with 30 & 33 inch lengths, no weight taken. Seemed we were lucky as others reported a very slow day.

Awesome, I can't even explain how much of a relief it is to have the season begin!

Very nice had to do spring yard work or I would have been there as well
hopefully get a rain day this week

Had similar results on Sunday, although 1 less and smaller. We stayed in 50fow and less but saw a couple boats out deeper. Looks like it might be coming close to deeper water time already on the south shore.
