Fished Bruce for perch today, nada. Real good gobie bite though? Way back got checked by MNR, seemed like good guys. Shot the poop for a bit, then you could see a boat coming in from pickerel fishing, moving right along.
MNR took up coarse to intercept before the harbor, slow comfortable clip. About the time fishing vessel made out ministry boat, it comes to a full stop and turns broadside, way before any hand sign or any signal for a visit?? maybe 1/2 km or more separation. MNR now flat out to fishing boat, very quick getting there.
So I have to wonder, do dead pickerel float, or did somebody's hat just blow off????

I talked to them when they came back to NEM that afternoon, said they had some issues with over limits that day, maybe it was that boat!
