We are currently open 7am to 5pm, 7 days a week.
We do have minnows available. We aim to have minnows on hand 12 months of the year.
We also have worms.
Bass Opener for Long Point Bay is Saturday, June the 27th (the fourth Saturday in June).
The MNR has made a statement saying they will not be putting in the markers for the fish sanctuary this year. The sanctuary is in effect starting May 15th. We have an very old poster here at the store which shows the sanctuary lines, that the MNR provided probably 20 years ago.
I have heard some great reports of people catching perch just off Old Cut, over by Port Rowan and in front of Turkey Point. There are also some Crappies being found, but those are up to you to find.....
Good luck to all those fishing the LPBAA Pike Derby on Saturday May the 9th at the Sandboy Marina, by the sounds of it there should be a great turnout.
Jimmy (Riggin') is currently fishing in Port Dalhousie for Salmon. Yesterday his boat managed to catch 22 lakers, 14 kings, 1 steelhead, and 1 atlantic salmon. He only plans to be there until May 24th, then he will be running out of Port Bruce for some hastings Perch and will be trolling back for Walleye for June.
