That's fantastic, the weather is calling for a nice week, I hope the ice isn't covered in 6" of water. That can be tricky and dangerous. If it is water sitting on the ice get yourself some ice spikes for the boots. I don't know how old the son is but it's not a bad idea for him to wear his bike helmet. I took a header out there a few years back and hit my noggin on the ice and did get a concussion, can't be too careful. If you are going out to a hut with an outfitter call ahead and ask about ice conditions. Have fun, be safe. Hope you all hammer them this coming week. I should have worn a helmet myself.
