Camping at Long Point Provincial park this weekend...

Never launched here, and haven't fished the bay in 30 years.

Deep water seems like a far run. How long out to 50+ feet from the provincial park? I think I've read enough about bass areas for the kids, just wondering if I should bring my riggers and gear for pickerel.

it would be a long run up the point to get to 50 fow ,,,the ticks are very bad this year if you got kids with you best check them before bed ...nasty critters ,deit will help some ..Dutch

As said its about 7-8 miles out. But well worth the trip in my opinion. Many people head out down rigging from the inner bay. And the fishing is pretty hot.out there right now.
