Fishing Report Cabo

Mick you were right. Incredible place to fish Cabo San Lucas. First time chasing Marlin and Mahi Mahi or anything that will bite. Out two days. Spanish Mackerel with one Marlin the first day. Leader touch no pic holding the beast. The second day sucess. Got to hold one and had dinner with the colourful Mahi Mahi. I’m going back. Had a great time with RedRum charters.

Congrats @jaymag for making the trip to Cabo...Happy to read you hooked up for your first marlin & mahi..I am sure you were thrilled....and it looks like it.. and still nice blue water and your offshore..

my last 2 cabo trips again were just around the corner.. December 23 for my biggest marlin of the trip..just an incredible fight close to an hour...and my last trip Santa delivered xmas morning Dec. 25 started with a nice mahi and 3 marlin by 11 am..also thanks to a great crew on Phantom III 2 deckhands and Capt. Pepe..
anyway I flew south from Cabo Dec. 28, Iam down here in Puerto Vallarta..soakin up the sun..got out with Fishing Rebels January 8 for a long offshore trip to reach the pacific and beyond & trolled up the coast...2 for 4 on dorados drifting back on live bait/circle hook..ya missed a couple good bites..thats with 3 whales coming up on the stern..that was a wow..
..next trip out new moon Jan 21..
