My Birthday fish couldn't have been better.
After reading the posts on this site i decided to break away from the usual smally/musky day on St.Clair and try something new for my B-Day fish.
We made the 1 hour trip to Burwell and went straight south until we hit 60fow.
Dipsy Diver with a Greasy Chicken spoon Did the most damage. I also ran a Dipsy with Pink Panties spoon that was broken off early in the day on a bow.
And 1 Leadcore rod 7-8 color, black and white spoon that claimed several walleye.
Anyways it was hard to brake away from the fishing i am use too and try something completely new.
But i am really glad i did. We caught 12 nice walleye with 4 of them weighing 7 pounds.
Thanks to everybody who has posted their reports on here i could not have pulled this together without you.
