bit of late report for the Friday fish but better late than never. started out early and fished sandhills keeping about 30 jumbos, fishing 30-33 ft. Wind died to nothing and bite shut down, decided to head to hastings and caught another 47 in 40 fow. Biggest perch of the day was 14 1/4 ". Most averaged 10-13. Much like everyone else had a very strong current and found we had to lay the bait right on the bottom to pick up the big guys which makes sense with the current. Couple of sheeps mixed in as well.

Went out sunday again and went right to hastings, stop at Fridays waypoint and found bait cloud after bait cloud after yet another bait cloud. Watched minnows and rainbows constantly surface (out there at first light). Did manage a few perch but moved around a lot to try and find a gap between the bait balls. EVery perch we caught spit out at like two big minnows. Moved back to sandhills and caught a few more perch but decide to troll for walleyes to finish the couple hours til lunch.

Fished 49-54 fow trolling speed was between 2.2-2.7 depending on direction of travel in relation to current. Managed 5 eyes with 5 colour and greasy chicken worm harness getting 3, purple tail dancer 1 and nascar spoon on dipsey 1. On guy was 30" and hit 10lbs on the scale. Good to see they are starting to roll in.

Quick question if anyone has some information looking to take brother in law out and due to some medical reasons can't travel too far, is anything going on in Nanticoke trolling wise as this is the closest port to take him out.

Thanks
