I have now heard of a few turkeys in the area with this disease. It causes scabs on the birds head and affects their eyesight by scabs on their eyes.If the bird can't see they are easy prey for predators and or just starve to death.Hope they can build some immunity to it.

This disease was very common in the House Finches at my bird feeders 10 -15 years ago, but I have not seen any of it the last few years.
