Annual Manitoulin island hunt

Up on the beautiful rock in my hunt shack for a week with the boys and business as usual. Tons of does and fawns with the bucks cruising looking for some action. Caught this fella yesterday afternoon hot on the trail of a pair of ladies. Did my part for the me too movement and prevented some sexual harassment from occurring.

After a ‘scare’ about my shotguns I decided to heat up some apple crisp on my heater/stove to entice the deer to come join the party here!

Last year with an old heater cover, a leather man and 10 hours of time in the shack on the first day I crafted a rack for heating my food on my shack heater. Just use tinfoil or a metal tin and it works as well as any stove!
