Managed to get 4 hours in this morning before the family stuff dragged me away. Trolled 60 to 95 fow east of the shoal. Riggers at 45 with sliders produced. No hits on dipsy or lead set-ups. Dark spoons worked. Not a big fish day but 1 eye 1 silver bass and 2 bows in the boat. 2 bows up to the back of the boat before they said good bye. I big silver tank came up out of the water good fight for 2 mins before the 20lb big game snapped. First time breaking off big game trolling. New line on all rods every spring.
anytime on the water is always a good time in my books…especially when your hooking monster fish that can break your line!
