Our longest undefended border is with Russia…..

Our Canadian naval force is handle by the coast-guard.

We have NO functioning subs.

Canada is the big joke here.

I'm staying, because we have the best country in the world, even with our current leadership.

Not entirely accurate Oscar. The longest undefended international border in the world is NOT between Canada and Russia, (although technically The Arctic Bridge or Arctic Sea Bridge is a seasonal sea route approximately 6,700 kilometres (4,200 mi; 3,600 NM) long linking Russia to Canada, specifically the Russian port of Murmansk to the Hudson Bay port of Churchill, Manitoba.) But at 5,525 miles (8,891km) the longest undefended international border is the one between Canada and the United States.

Most countries don't want to mess with Canada because they know that geographically, we are not only a key ally of the United States, but we hold perhaps a distinction that no other country on this planet holds, that being, we know it, the United States knows it, the rest of the world knows it, WE are strategically, and economically, vitally important to the United States.

The other thing the world knows, because we've proven it time and time again, is that even though we did not start the fight, (Canada has NEVER started a war) and even though our military pales in size and equipment when compared to others, especially that of the US, once we have engaged with our military (when warranted) we will damn sure hold our ground, we will finish it, or we’ll die trying! Why? Because as Canadians, that is what we do, and we do it well, and we’ve proven repeatedly, that in many instances, we do it better than anyone else!! Where others have fled, or failed to get the job done. We stood our ground, and we got the job done, or we died in the attempt.

Beaumont-Hamel. Vimy Ridge. Hill 70, The Somme, Passchendaele. Ypres. Dieppe. The Battle of the Scheldt. Hong Kong. Caen. Verrieres Ridge. D-Day, the Battle of the Atlantic, The Battle of Kapyong, Cyprus, The Battle of the Medak Pocket and Afghanistan. These are all examples where Canadians proved just that. We didn’t start the fight, but we held our ground, we finished it, or we died trying. Our military isn't a joke to those who have fought against us. It's highly respected because of what it can and has accomplished, with what it has available in terms of personnel, and equipment.

As of 2023, the RCN operates 12 frigates, four attack submarines, 12 coastal defence vessels, eight patrol-class training vessels, two offshore patrol vessels, and several auxiliary vessels. Should our navy be bigger, opinions vary, but then again, we also KNOW that being we are strategically important to the US, they'd send everything they could to help us defend ourselves if anyone was stupid enough to attack us militarily here at home. Aside from being Nato allies, it would be in their best interest to do so because any threat to our security as a nation, becomes an immediate threat to the security of the United States.

And that Russian military has been been just shown via the war with Ukraine to be highly exaggerated.

Canada a joke? I take offence to that statement
