Went for a little walk to check on my area that gives back a good supply of morels. Found a nice little cluster of them and that was enough for dinner tonight.
Kinda went out on a limb this time on cooking them. I’m sure everyone has had deep fried mushrooms, so let’s try it this time.
I used this beer batter mix that I had from Sobeys made by Bait-2-Go. It’s a seasoned coating mix that’s been kicking around because nobody liked it.
Fired up the Cajun deep fryer and let it begin. Just long enough to get them a golden cook finish. Had to sample one before I did the others and then I couldn’t get them coated fast enough to be fried.
